Brje se nahajajo na zahodnem delu vipavskih gri\u010dev, ki predstavljajo naravno povezavo med Vipavsko dolino in dolino Branice. Razgibana tla ustvarjajo slikovito pokrajino z zna\u010dilnimi kmetijskimi povr\u0161inami in poselitvijo. Brje sestavljajo \u0161tevilni zaselki razporejeni po gri\u010dih na nadmorski vi\u0161ini od 80 do 331m. Son\u010dna pobo\u010dja z mediteranskim podnebjem, zasajena z vinogradi in sadovnjaki pri\u010dajo o bogati tradiciji vinogradni\u0161tva in sadjarstva. \u017de na prehodu prej\u0161njega stoletja so vinogradniki ustanovili Dru\u0161tvo vinogradnikov in vinarjev Brje, ki je aktivno \u0161e danes. Velik pe\u010dat so na Brjah pustili arhitekt Maks Fabiani, duhovnik in pesnik Simon Gregor\u010di\u010d, slovenski scenarist Silvan Furlan ter Matija Vertovec, ki je prvi v slovenskem jeziku pisal o vinogradni\u0161tvu, vinarstvu in kletarstvu.
Brje se pona\u0161ajo s \u0161tevilnimi pohodni\u0161kimi, kolesarskimi potmi, ki ponujajo lepe razglede nad celotno Vipavsko dolino. V sredi\u0161\u010du vasi se nahaja cerkev Cirila in Metoda. Na najvi\u0161ji to\u010dki je cerkev Svetega Martina, na najni\u017eji pa Ne\u010dil\u010deva jama, ki se razteza pod Brjami.<\/p>\n
